WHAT DOES BEE VENOM DO FOR THE SKIN?

WILL IT STING OR IRRITATE MY SKIN?

You may feel a mild tingling sensation—that’s normal and typically fades quickly. If you have sensitive skin or a bee allergy, do a patch test first or consult with your dermatologist.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE IT?

We recommend applying it twice daily—morning and night—after cleansing and before moisturizing for best results.

CAN I USE IT WITH OTHER SKINCARE PRODUCTS?

Yes, bee venom serum layers well with most products. Avoid using it with strong exfoliants or retinoids in the same routine to prevent irritation.

IS IT SAFE DURING PREGNANCY OR BREASTFEEDING?

Out of caution, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before using any product containing bee venom while pregnant or nursing.

IS IT AN SPF?

No, Sun Butter does not carry an official SPF rating. To receive that label, we’d be required to add synthetic stabilizers and preservatives—ingredients we choose to avoid.

Instead, we use non-nano zinc oxide, the same active mineral filter found in many SPF-rated sunscreens, without any of the unnecessary chemicals.

Sun Butter is equivalent in strength to industry standard SPF30 products.

WILL IT LEAVE A WHITE CAST?

Very minimal, thanks to our tallow base.  Unlike most mineral sunscreens, Sun Butter blends in smoothly and leaves a dewy, natural finish with a warm tint—not a chalky film.

IS IT REEF SAFE?

Yes. Sun Butter is free from chemical UV filters like oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are known to harm marine life. Our formula is 100% reef-safe and ocean-friendly.

CAN I USE IT EVERY DAY?

Absolutely. Sun Butter is designed for daily use as both a moisturizer and a sun protectant. Gentle enough for sensitive skin, effective enough for real sun exposure.

IS IT WATER-RESISTANT?

Somewhat, thanks to its rich, balm-like texture. However, we recommend reapplying after swimming, sweating, or towel drying to ensure continued protection.

IS IT GOOD FOR BREAKOUT-PRONE SKIN?

Yes. Our Sea Moss Face Mask was specifically formulated for skin that's prone to breakouts, congestion, excess oil, and visible redness. Sea moss, turmeric, aloe, and mineral-rich botanicals work together to help calm stressed skin and support a clearer-looking complexion.

WILL IT DRY OUT MY SKIN?

No. Unlike many skincare treatments that can leave skin feeling tight and stripped, our formula is designed to clarify while helping maintain hydration. Skin feels clean, balanced, and refreshed after use.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE IT?

We recommend using the Sea Moss Face Mask 2–4 times per week. Apply a thin, even layer, leave on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

DOES IT HELP WITH THE APPEARANCE OF PORES?

Yes. The mineral-rich ingredients help draw out excess oil, dirt, and buildup that can contribute to clogged pores. Skin looks smoother, cleaner, and more refined after use.
